I was curious about the Flattered Alma boot! Why do you say they don't go well under straight jeans? I was thinking they could work for a straighter relaxed fit (perhaps not so much a tapered fit but maybe a wider tapered fit?). Also maybe a cropped wider fit could work if it was long enough and I wore warm socks for the winter. I was also hoping to get wear out of them for winter times as there's a lot snow here! What size did you get in the boot? I'm trying to determine my size as I've never had a pair before. I'm typically an 8-8.5 US women's and a 39 Euro (or 38 depending on the brand but I'd say more often a 39). Thanks so much for any info you have on the boot!

Hey, I think the reason I thought so is because my feet are on the bigger size (EU size 40), and have fairly slim ankles, and the boot was quite big on my foot and felt a bit off with the straight jean. However, with a more relaxed fit they could work if you do not mind a round toe. If you'd like I can DM you some pics :) Regarding the sizing, Flattered has a very helpful scale next to each product saying fits small or fits big. I usually am 40 in most boots, and 40 in Tibi, and took 40 in Alma too

I would love if you could DM me some pics! Thank you so much! I looked at the sizing charts but I find sometimes the charts don't match up to what they say the measured size is. This boot says it fits big on their sizing chart but then when I look at their cm length that doesn't seem to be true? What US size are you usually? Or actually what birkenstock european size (if you have birks) are you? I can see what you mean about a chunkier boot feeling big on the foot if you have a bigger foot, though 40 doesn't seem that big (or far off from my normal 38-39!).

Done! DM'ed some images, hope you see what I have in mind. I have Arizona Eva Birks in 39

A yes to all those Aeyde boots you highlighted. So good! Also very good boot options are all boots by Khaite (the leather is impeccable) and the Zip Up boots from The Row are perfection. I’ve had mine for a few seasons now and they just get better with each wear. :)

Great to hear that - I've never had a chance to try the Zip Up boots! Just looked at the Khaite shoe collection, it looks stunning, love the colors and textures, thanks for sharing!
