I’m so impressed that you can wear boots like that all winter, honestly haha — I would be freezing! I’m in Canada, so I’m not sure how our weather compares, but our winters are very snowy and cold. My favorite “cuter” boots are from a Canadian brand called Maguire — I have the Cortina style (the shearling-lined ones). They’ve kept me warm even at -30°C and still look like new after a full winter! Though yes, they do have a thicker sole… I’m afraid that might be part of the reason why!

-30 is indeed a different ballgame. We get -20 sometimes, but not all the time. Maguire looks very interesting, I forgot that Canada also knows what is winter :)

I'm sorry - even though Vagabond is scandibased, I don't think any normal leather boot will hold up in the snow and salt. The only ones I've found lasting in those condition are something with a thicker sole to avoid getting as much salt etc. on the boot and typically in nubuck or more heavyduty leather 🤷‍♀️

Maybe you are right and I am expecting too much.. I've had a couple of boots that did held up though - one pair from Flattered was exposed to a lot of walking, and still looked good in the end of the winter, and another from a no-name brand held up too. But maybe these are the exceptions not the rule
