My Style Evolution: From the Fruit Theory to Tibi to a Balanced Approach to Style
There exist individuals who inherently possess a unique sense of style. I, however, am not amongst them. Having always been more analytically minded, aesthetics and intuitive feel for style was challenging for me for a very long time.
I vividly remember my teenage years, when I first learned that red and pink supposedly clashed. Imagine my surprise when my fashion-forward classmate came into school one day wearing an outfit of pink pants, a red top, and a khaki vest - and totally owned it. I quickly understood that style rules were not set in stone - and style in fact became even more of a mystery to me.
