The sale season is in full swing, and in the coming days the semi-annual Tibi sale is likely to start. I once again have my eye on several items from Tibi and elsewhere. I feel a bit conflicted because I’m still moderating my fashion purchases and considering maybe just one - or even no - purchases during the sale season. However, I also want to share the items that caught my eye in case you’re in a different predicament.
If you’ve just started following Tibi or feel overwhelmed by sale season, remember:
You do not need to buy anything just because it’s sale season.
Many Tibi (and likely other brand) pieces reemerge on secondhand sites. Even the most in-demand pieces usually reappear on Tibi fans or other resale platforms. I’m considering buying only through Tibi Fans because there’s a fun serendipity element - like the item was “meant to be.”
Beware of marketing. Tibi (and perhaps other brands, too) has very good marketing. It’s easy to get swept up by the explanation behind the designs. I often catch myself almost clicking “add to cart” for something I already own and don’t even like!
Just because an item has been on your wishlist for months or even a year, doesn’t mean you must buy it. My own wishlist is much bigger than what I need or plan to buy - there are so many good pieces in fashion!
Tibi Sale
If you’re shopping the Tibi sale for the first time, here are some hacks to keep in mind:
Winter Sale Codes: The codes during the winter sale are u124, f124, and f224 that you can search on the site to see which pieces are included. Other pieces are often added to the sale as time goes on, including shoes. After a couple of weeks, discounts may be increased further.
Before the Sale Begins: If you purchase through a Tibi stylist, ask if they’ll honor the upcoming sale price on a coveted item. The return window is 14 days, so if the sale begins before that window ends, you could theoretically buy the piece, then return it, and rebuy it at the sale price. To avoid that hassle (and return processing costs), some brands will preemptively honor the sale price.
Stock Check Hack: To see if your item might sell out, try adding multiple quantities to your cart. If you can only add one, it might be at risk of selling out; if you can add ten, you can probably wait for additional discounts or monitor availability.
Anyway, here are my picks from this year’s Tibi sale:
Soft Lambswool Sweater With Cut Out Detail
Tibi is known for its amazing sweaters, and this one is no exception. The Soft Lambswool Sweater With Cut Out Detail features a unique crewneck element at the bottom, giving it an interesting hemline. I also love the rich green color - it feels very fresh this season.
Wool Jersey V-Neck Tennis Pullover
The Wool Jersey V-Neck Tennis Pullover has the crispness of traditional tennis (or polo) dressing, which looks especially cool if you have a softer complexion. At the same time, it features an asymmetric neck for a bit of “disheveled” charm.
Soft Lambswool Half Cardigan
Tibi’s half cardigans have been around for a while, and this Soft Lambswool Half Cardigan is this season’s iteration. It has a very interesting look. Personally, I’d need to try it on in person to see if it works for someone who has a bit more volume on top, but it remains a fascinating piece.
Cashmere Sweater Cape
Amy mentioned that Tibi really figured out how to do capes this season, and the Cashmere Sweater Cape is the result. It appears to be a versatile piece that can be worn multiple ways. It comes in black and camel, which aren’t my colors, so I probably won’t buy it. Still, it looks like a piece with a lot of styling possibilities.
Majeur Boucle Shrunken Cardigan Jacket
The Majeur Boucle Shrunken Cardigan Jacket is a cool, modern take on a Chanel-inspired look. If you have curves, it might be ideal to try it on in person, but it seems both classic and updated for contemporary style.
Boucle Tweed Cardigan Coat
Continuing the Chanel-like aesthetic, the Boucle Tweed Cardigan Coat is another piece that strikes a nice balance between classic and modern. I loved how it looked on Amy and Keturah (there’s a video on the product page below the description). It seems like a great coat.
Drapey Suiting Liam Blazer
Tibi has done its signature Liam blazer in numerous colors and materials - wool, denim, leather, and more. I think the Drapey Suiting Liam Blazer is one of the best iterations. The cotton-plus-rayon blend is lightweight and drapes beautifully, at least from what I’ve seen in Tibi Fans videos. I once owned a Liam blazer and didn’t reach for it much, so I eventually sold it, but this one still intrigues me.
Shirred Nylon Paneled Skirt
The Shirred Nylon Paneled Skirt is a new nylon skirt from Tibi and could replicate the success of their balloon skirt. I’ve seen comments suggesting it might not be super flattering around the belly area, but it’s still an interesting design. I’m personally waiting for the mint and purple colors (in the resort collection) to go on sale.
Gary Print On Stretch Crepe Pencil Skirt
If I could get only one piece from this sale, the Gary Print On Stretch Crepe Pencil Skirt would be a strong contender. I love the stark black-and-white pattern, and it feels like a piece that can anchor many outfits. It’s also not too bulky or wide, which I appreciate.
Grey Denim Barry Jean
Another top contender is the Grey Denim Barry Jean. I love gray jeans and have searched far and wide for a beautiful shade of gray that doesn’t look dirty - it’s surprisingly hard to find. I’ve heard these jeans work well for people with a higher hip-to-waist ratio (not my case), so I’d still have to see if the shape works for me.
Acid Iceberg Denim Newman Jean
The Acid Iceberg Denim Newman Jean isn’t part of the current sale but is available in the Tibi outlet. I’ve been lusting after it for about a year. It doesn’t seem to be a big favorite among the Tibi crowd, since it has a fairly narrow leg and a lower waist. However, every Tibi fan I’ve seen wearing it looks amazing. This is definitely on my top items list for the sale purchases.
Sale Highlights from Other Brands
Believe it or not, other brands aside from Tibi also exist :) Here’s a roundup of other interesting pieces I’ve noticed.
Merino Elbow Sleeve Top by Filippa K
Filippa K is a Scandi brand known for its minimalist designs, though quality can vary. The Merino Elbow Sleeve Top is one piece that looks promising if you’re after classic, understated staples.
Oscar Trunk Medium in Elephant by Wandler
Wandler is a brand that seems to do no wrong, matching maturity with modern and interesting designs. The Oscar Trunk Medium bag is a newer release from Wandler and is now on sale. I was sure it would be my next bag until I saw the one they released right after - keep reading!
Kate Mini Crossbody in Saddle by Wandler (not on sale)
The Kate Mini Crossbody isn’t currently on sale, but I thought it was worth highlighting. It’s a stunning bag I now have my eye on for my next “wear with everything” piece. The shape, golden details, and color options are just gorgeous.
The Silk Cami Dress by Donni
Donni is a brand I haven’t tried before, but I recently discovered some of their designs. This Silk Cami Dress is on sale and absolutely beautiful for summer. I like the wider straps, especially for those with a bigger chest who want more coverage. The dreamy colorways are lovely, though I’d be cautious about daily wear since it’s silk and dry-clean only.
The Silky Cami by Donni
The Silky Cami is a similar design to the dress but made of rayon instead of silk, making it easier to wash and care for. The pale yellow color is quite unusual, and I like it for summer to mix and match with various colors.
The Rib Kick Flare by Donni
It is interesting that two exactly opposite pant silhouettes are popular this year - barrel-leg and kick flare. I’m curious to try the kick flare trend, and the Rib Kick Flare seems like a good entry point (the High Sport pant is way beyond my budget).
The Dream Kick Flare Pant by Everlane
The Dream Kick Flare Pant is another way to test the kick flare trend. Reviews of its quality are mixed, but it might be a good placeholder if you want to see how the style works for you.
Embellished Handmade Skirt by Rohe
Rohe is becoming a bit of a fashion-insider brand, with designs that push boundaries yet remain somewhat classic. I recently bought a sequin skirt from Mango and discovered how versatile a statement skirt can be. This Embellished Handmade Skirt can be worn for various occasions, dressed up or down, and still feel fresh. If you want to invest in a piece at a higher-quality level, this might be worth it.
Relaxed Tailored Shirt-Jacket by Rohe
I have a similar shirt-jacket from Tibi and absolutely love it—great for events that are both casual and businesslike. This Relaxed Tailored Shirt-Jacket might not suit my coloring, but if you often find yourself at tech conferences or in environments that are both business and casual, it’s an excellent option to bridge the gap.
Cowl Neck Short Sleeve Top by Rohe
A Cowl Neck Short Sleeve Top is such a classic piece. This one looks beautiful and fluid, able to elevate even the simplest outfits. The fabric doesn’t seem too precious, so it’s appropriate for a variety of occasions. It is on the pricier side, but if it fits your budget, it’s a great piece to consider.
Fluid Silk Dress by Rohe
I seriously considered the Fluid Silk Dress for my 40th birthday, but my size sold out. There aren’t many evening dresses that cover you up yet have interesting structure and shape. This one seems to do just that. I haven’t tried it on, but I highly recommend it if you have lots of events and want something both elegant and comfortable.
Bono Leather Creme by Flattered
The Bono Leather Creme is a textured slide I’ve been eyeing for a year and a half. I think it’s a great option for summer to add some interest to your outfit, especially if you prefer minimal color palettes. The sizes are nearly sold out, so keep that in mind if you’re considering it.
The Mock Neck by The Curated
The Mock Neck is a fantastic option for anyone seeking a classic sweater in top-notch cashmere. Pieces from The Curated are among my most-worn items, and the longevity and quality are outstanding. They’re having an archive sale at the moment, so it’s a great opportunity to add a timeless staple to your wardrobe. I can vouch for the quality: my cashmere pieces have been worn close to 100 times and still look amazing.
As you can see, this wishlist is quite chaotic and not entirely based on specific needs but rather on aesthetics! Nevertheless, there are plenty of pieces to choose from during the sales. I hope you find what you’re looking for at whatever level of moderation suits you best!

I own the Acid Wash Newmans and I really do love them. But I can’t seem to shake the notion I’m too old to wear them - Amy would kill me for saying this, I’m sure.
Such good tips!! And I don’t even know why I clicked through and read all of it given my no buy. I guess I’m masochistic!!
