Ah, I love a good out-of-the-box thrift store find! This was fascinating. I love the way you styled the crocheted cardigan around your waist!

Thank you! Crochet gives such an amazing texture!

It's so interesting to read about how you are now in the next phase and try to incorporate chosen 'mistake' purchases fit in your current wardrobe. I think it's Amy herself who used to say: "the eye adjusts".

I love the crocheted piece worn at waist and the victorian jacket with wide leg pants. Have you tried it with a pair of Winslows as well?

Yes, but these pieces are still a bit out of comfort zone for me:) nevertheless I think I will be wearing some of them for sure!

Style becomes so much fun and experimental when we allow ourselves to explore the world beyond Tibi. My favourite was the crochet overlay and am looking forward to seeing how you go with the poncho! That would be a tricky one for me ...

yes, 100%!! poncho is tricky for me too, but maybe?

Loved your experiments especially using that crochet jacket as a layering piece! So much fun to explore beyond the usual tibi etc

Crochet is so beautiful and it is so widely available second hand at least here, as it used to be very popular!

I love this sequel of your bad outfits experiment. And very true, friction can be found second hand. Your post inspires me to check more second gand stores.

I love the striped cape over the red dress. Somehow these colors together tone down the brightness.

Great post!
